WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU VISIT

All visits to Global Adventure must be pre-booked online. We will be welcoming visitors in 2 hours slots:

  • 10.00am to 12noon
  • 1.00pm to 3.00pm
  • 3.30pm to 5.30pm
  • 6.00pm to 8.00pm (Friday Only)

During each slot, visitors are welcome to stay and play for 90 minutes.

As we are limiting numbers to ensure social distancing, online booking is essential. All online bookings are non-refundable so be sure that you can make it before you book.

Following each session, all areas, including tables, chairs, and touch points, will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before the start of the next session.

You will see Hand Sanitiser stations around the building, including at the entrance, in our café and in the toilets. Please use the sanitiser regularly, and ensure children sanitise their hands before entering the play zones.

We cannot currently store children’s shoes at reception. Visitors will be provided with a tub for shoes and other personal items, which can be placed under your table. When leaving, please leave your empty bucket under your table, so we can clean and sanitise it for our next visitors.

To allow for physical distancing, some tables and chairs have been removed. Please do not move any of the tables and chairs from their current positions. When children are not playing, we ask they remain at their table.

In line with government regulations, all guests aged 12 and over must wear a face-covering at all times when not seated at their table.

We understand that adults will need to accompany small children and toddlers in our Toddler Frame. Please be aware of numbers in this area and be mindful of children wishing to play. In the Main Frame we encourage independent play for children aged 3 and over. Adults, where possible, should not enter the frame. If a child is in distress or needs initial help with navigation adults are, of course, welcome to do this. All adults entering either frame must wear a face-covering and be mindful of physical distancing.

Perspex screens have been installed at reception and in the café.

At this time, where possible we would ask that customers use cashless payment.

We have a new digital system where after paying for your order you will be given a personal buzzer which will notify you when your meal is ready for collection.

Only food and drink purchased from Global Café may be consumed on the premises. This excludes baby food, fruit, water and any foods required due to allergies or special dietary requirements. Please make staff at reception aware of this on arrival.

For hygiene, food or drink must not be brought into the play frames.

Global Parties are currently being offered in the following slots:

  • 10.00am to 12noon
  • 1.00pm to 3.00pm
  • 3.30pm to 5.30pm
  • 6.00pm to 8.00pm (Friday Only)

Each party is made up of 90 minutes play in the frames and 30 minutes for food and drinks in the dedicated party room. Once food is served, children must not return to the play frames. This is to allow all areas to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before the next session. Access to the party room will be available throughout the session, as will reserved seating for accompanying adults.

Hand washing facilities are available in the bathrooms, and sanitiser will be provided as the party food is served. We recommend each child uses this before eating.

When sending out invites, please ensure guests are aware that any siblings they wish to bring along at the same time must be booked into the session directly.

At present due to Covid 19, we are unable to facilitate any third-party companies or entertainers, such as face painters, magicians, mascots, etc.

Only food and drink purchased within Global Adventure should be consumed on the premises. This excludes baby food, fruit, water and allergy-specific foods which should be mentioned on entry at reception. Absolutely no food or drink should be brought into either play frame.
